dr. philippines.

oh well hai!
i have been oot and a aboot the philippines for this lunar year celebration.
however, it seems that any holiday this year is not the same without family. anyways, i believe the philippines is somewhere i would definitely be going back to. there are 7000 islands and i only visited 4.

i apologize for the lack and perhaps quality of photos. due to technical and weather difficulties, most of these pictures were just snapped out of luck.

one of the largest islands in the philippines, it contains the tarsier monkeys (the smallest monkey in the world) and the famous chocolate hills. both of which i did not see... i was on vacation! but i did see lots of other cool things. you'll see.

you would think there was not much going on here according to the reviews from lonely planet and other travel books. however, this city was alive with a fun university culture and cascading water falls.

malapascua island
paradise away from paradise. here you can dive with thresher sharks and manta rays. this island takes only about 3 hours to walk around, and about 6 to get there. here you can witness a real village behind the resorts with welcoming people and a very large population of children.
