just when i thought life couldn't get better, destiny's child reunited for this music video right here to make my dreams all come true.
surprise surprise. michelle and kelly are back in the picture cause they couldn't make it in the spotlight all by themselves. and there is beyonce with her big fancy half naked solo. i think we are showing off the 'ol body a little too much. wait whhat gurl? you look damn fine for someone who just had a baby! that is probably what you want everyone to think when they see this. and they will. what i like about this video is that they give each of the girls their own solo in order of importance. classic DC. i also like the part where beyonce's boobies are delightfully bouncing all over the screen.
the song subject? hmmm, not my favourite. who run the world? according to this song, not girls. but it is catchy and maybe for valentine's day i can practice a little dance to this song for my boyfriend. he would totes love it. then when we get into a spiff i will remember that i am an independent woman! just like DC taught me. geez, how would i even know how to be a woman without these gals.
my favourite part is where kelly is rolling around on the car like you spread butter on toast. they must've just taken that car out of the fridge cause to my knowledge, when a car sits out in the sun, let alone the desert all day, it would be pretty darn hot. i mean what music video set doesn't have a car fridge for desert scenes?
regardless, i will listen to this song one more time to ensure that it is crap. and then probably listen to it a couple more times and find it catchy. cool.
