the peace sign. is it alright for me to throw it up once in awhile? well let's take a look at when society sees it appropriate.

who uses the peace sign today?
asians. and sometimes white people.

is it cool for asians to do the peace sign?
only to other asians. and or if the asian is trying to be ironic.

is it cool for other people to do the peace sign?
yes.
why?
'oh look i look so asian when i do the peace sign! isn't that funny?'
yes. it is hilarious.

what do people think when they see asians doing the peace sign?
'that is so cute!'
'whoa, so asian.'

there was this fear of when i arrived here, that i would suddenly collect a plethora of hello kitty paraphernalia, wear bows in my hair and start using peace signs in every picture. don't worry i have not yet caved. but if i did start acting really fobby, you would still be my friend right?
yeah i thought so. thus, my reasoning for resisting the v.
so in conclusion, you will most likely never see a picture of me and the peace sign. twill be a rare occasion.
